When my dog was a puppy, I reached out to several dog trainers, and even attended two dog clubs, hoping to give her the best life possible. Unfortunately, they all left me feeling confused and frustrated. I got so much advice that was either contradictory, too strong, or simply unrealistic in real-life situations with my puppy.

Dog training is an unregulated profession, which unfortunately means that anyone with an ACACED certification can be a “dog trainer.”
But the truth is, it takes more than a 2-day certification to really understand dogs, their people, and the best training methods to help them work together.

Observed and been mentored by local canine trainers & behaviourists both locally and online each with their own knowledge and methods.

Taught classes at a local dog club as well as volunteering with a local association that helps pounds with rehoming & adoptions.

Saskia Van Der Stel
Kaïa is a 3 year old Malinois Mutt we adopted in the middle of two lock-downs. She was an incredibly fearful puppy who didn't even dare put down her paws outdoors. Kaïa has come an incredibly long way and her confidence continues to grow day by day.
Always overflowing with energy we often go on long hikes & adventures across the Côte d'Azur and are training to compete in Agility & Obedience Trials.
